The companies keep their reports vague and hide the worst releases, so we don't know what's hurting us. → влияет на? → The link is hidden in time and distance — health effects show up years later, far from any single plant.
I've had asthma flare-ups that started months after heavy plant activity, and my son's hospitalizations don't show up in any single plant's violation records - they're scattered across time and health systems.

I can smell the releases at 3 AM when I'm trying to sleep before my night shift starts, but that data never makes it into the official reports that supposedly protect us.
I have seen reports that hide worst releases, e.g., at 3 AM flares.
I've seen vague reports and also seen the time/distance argument used to avoid tracing harm. One is about what companies write down; the other is about how harm spreads. They sit side by side, but one doesn't drive the other.
Diffuse causation across time and distance is a physical and epidemiological fact, not something produced by companies writing vague reports. Vagueness may exploit that diffusion, but it does not create it.
I've seen the big plants around here file reports that don't match what I smell at night. They keep it vague, and then years later someone gets sick and nobody can prove where it came from.
I have seen the permitting meetings where we agreed to vague language in public reports specifically because the internal data showed releases that would be impossible to defend if detailed, knowing the health impacts are diffuse and untraceable to specific incidents.
