True Causes را Inverudio Inc اداره می‌کند. طرح‌های پولی از طریق یک ارائه‌دهندهٔ پرداخت فروخته می‌شوند که در مقام فروشندهٔ رسمی (merchant of record) عمل می‌کند؛ نام آن ارائه‌دهنده روی صورت‌حساب شما می‌آید و مالیات را او رسیدگی می‌کند.
نرم‌افزاری برای اجرای یک هم‌اندیشی ساختاریافته و تولید نقشه‌ای از علت‌ها. ابزاری است تا یک گروه به نتیجه‌گیری‌های خودش برسد و آن‌ها را ثبت کند. تصمیم نمی‌گیرد، واقعیت‌ها را راستی‌آزمایی نمی‌کند و مشاورهٔ تخصصی نمی‌دهد. نقشه‌ای که تولید می‌کند نظر کسانی است که آن را ساخته‌اند.
مسئولیت آنچه از حساب شما گذاشته می‌شود و نگهداری گذرواژه‌تان با شماست. هر شخص، یک حساب. هر نشانی را فقط یک بار و فقط یک حساب می‌تواند تأیید کند.
این بند دربارهٔ رفتار است، نه دربارهٔ نتیجه‌ها. ما گفت‌وگویی را به این دلیل که به پاسخی رسیده که کسی نمی‌پسندد حذف نمی‌کنیم — انتشار اختلاف نظر هدف همین نرم‌افزار است. آنچه حذف می‌کنیم:
وقتی گفت‌وگویی را حذف می‌کنیم، سند نشان می‌دهد که حذف شده و چه زمانی. ما بی‌صدا چیزی را پاک نمی‌کنیم: خدمتی که ارزشش سندی صادقانه است نمی‌تواند حفره‌های پنهان داشته باشد.
آنچه می‌نویسید از آنِ شما می‌ماند. با گذاشتن آن به ما اجازه می‌دهید آن را درون همان گفت‌وگویی که در آن گذاشته‌اید ذخیره و نمایش دهیم، و — فقط اگر روی یک کارت رها کردن را بزنید — آن را به اتاق‌های دیگری که روی همان پرسش کار می‌کنند نشان دهیم. رها کردن برگشت‌پذیر نیست، چون ممکن است اتاق‌های دیگر همان ادعا را پیش‌تر مطرح کرده باشند و سند آن‌ها پابرجا بماند.
نقشه‌ها، ادعاها و داده‌های یک اتاق را می‌توان آزادانه در گزارش‌ها، ارائه‌ها، مقاله‌ها و وب‌سایت‌ها به کار برد، با یک شرط، در همهٔ طرح‌ها: نام True Causes را بیاورید و به اتاق پیوند دهید، برای نمونه «نقشهٔ علّی: True Causes، truecauses.org/d/…». تصویرها، جاسازی‌ها و خروجی‌ها این ذکر نام را از پیش دارند؛ هنگام استفادهٔ دوباره آن را نگه دارید، و هنگامی که نتیجه‌ها را با واژه‌های خودتان نقل می‌کنید آن را بیفزایید. True Causes به‌صورت نرم‌افزار بی‌نشان (white-label) فروخته نمی‌شود، و ذکر نام در هیچ طرحی برداشته نمی‌شود.
طرح‌ها ماهانه‌اند. هر زمان می‌توانید لغو کنید و طرح تا پایان دوره‌ای که پیش‌تر پرداخته‌اید ادامه می‌یابد. پرداخت‌ها بازپرداخت نمی‌شوند؛ ممکن است به صلاحدید خودمان بازپرداخت کنیم، و این لطفی است، نه حق. اشتراک منقضی‌شده هرگز گفت‌وگویی را حذف نمی‌کند — جایگاه‌های تازه و گفت‌وگوهای تازه را محدود می‌کند؛ هر آنچه پیش‌تر ثبت شده خواندنی می‌ماند.
سازمان‌های غیرانتفاعی. یک سازمان غیرانتفاعی یا خیریهٔ ثبت‌شده می‌تواند از طرح Pro به‌رایگان استفاده کند. با ایمیل درخواست دهید؛ ممکن است مدرک ثبت بخواهیم، و اگر سازمان دیگر واجد شرایط نباشد ممکن است این امتیاز را پایان دهیم. گفت‌وگوهای آن با پایان یافتن امتیاز هرگز حذف نمی‌شوند.
این سامانه در مقیاس بزرگ در حال آزمایش است. همان‌گونه که هست و تا جایی که در دسترس است ارائه می‌شود، بدون هیچ نوع ضمانتی — نه دربارهٔ مناسب بودن، دقت، دسترس‌پذیری، و نه اینکه گفت‌وگویی به نتیجه‌ای سودمند برسد. تا بیشترین حدی که قانون اجازه می‌دهد، هیچ مسئولیتی نمی‌پذیریم در برابر هر زیان یا خسارتی که از استفادهٔ شما از خدمت پدید آید، از جمله تصمیم‌هایی که شما یا سازمانتان بر پایهٔ نقشه‌ای که این خدمت تولید کرده می‌گیرید. هر جا که قانون اجازهٔ سلب مسئولیت را ندهد، مسئولیت به مبلغی محدود است که در دوازده ماه پیش از طرح ادعا به ما پرداخته‌اید.
هر زمان می‌توانید حسابتان را حذف کنید. ما ممکن است حسابی را که این شرایط را نقض کند ببندیم، و دلیلش را می‌گوییم مگر اینکه قانون مانع شود.

True Causes is operated by Inverudio Inc. Paid plans are sold through a payment provider acting as merchant of record; that provider appears on your invoice and handles tax.
Software for running a structured deliberation and producing a map of causes. It is a tool for a group to reach and record its own conclusions. It does not make decisions, verify facts, or give professional advice. A map it produces is the opinion of the people who made it.
You are responsible for what is posted from your account and for keeping your password. One person, one account. An address may be confirmed once, by one account.
This is about conduct, not conclusions. We do not remove a dialogue for reaching an answer somebody dislikes — publishing disagreement is the point of the software. We do remove:
When we remove a dialogue the record shows that it was removed, and when. We do not quietly delete things: a service whose value is an honest record cannot have silent holes in it.
What you write stays yours. By posting it you allow us to store and display it inside the dialogue you posted it in, and — only if you press release on a card — to show it to the other rooms working on that question. Releasing cannot be undone, because other rooms may already have raised the same claim and their record stands.
Maps, claims and data from a room may be used freely, in reports, presentations, articles and websites, on one condition, on every plan: credit True Causes and link to the room, for example “Causal map: True Causes, truecauses.org/d/…”. Pictures, embeds and exports carry this credit already; keep it when you reuse them, and add it when you quote results in your own words. True Causes is not sold as white-label software, and the credit is not removed on any plan.
Plans are monthly. You can cancel at any time and the plan runs to the end of the period already paid for. Payments are not refunded; we may refund at our own discretion, and that is a courtesy, not a right. A lapsed subscription never deletes a dialogue — it caps new seats and new dialogues; everything already recorded stays readable.
Nonprofits. A registered nonprofit or charity may use the Pro plan free of charge. Apply by email; we may ask for proof of registration, and we may end the grant if the organisation no longer qualifies. Its dialogues are never deleted when a grant ends.
This instance is being tested at scale. It is provided as it is and as available, without warranty of any kind — not of fitness, accuracy, availability, or that a dialogue will produce a useful result. To the fullest extent the law allows, we accept no liability for any loss or damage arising from your use of the service, including decisions you or your organisation make on the strength of a map it produced. Where the law does not allow liability to be excluded, it is limited to what you paid us in the twelve months before the claim.
You may delete your account at any time. We may close an account that breaks these terms, and will say why unless prevented by law.
Governed by the law of the operator's jurisdiction. Nothing here removes a consumer right you have where you live.
