True Causes è gestito da Inverudio Inc. I piani a pagamento sono venduti tramite un fornitore di pagamenti che agisce come venditore registrato (merchant of record); tale fornitore compare sulla tua fattura e si occupa delle imposte.
Un software per condurre una deliberazione strutturata e produrre una mappa delle cause. È uno strumento con cui un gruppo giunge alle proprie conclusioni e le registra. Non prende decisioni, non verifica fatti e non fornisce consulenza professionale. Una mappa che produce è l’opinione delle persone che l’hanno realizzata.
Sei responsabile di ciò che viene pubblicato dal tuo account e della custodia della tua password. Una persona, un account. Un indirizzo può essere confermato una sola volta, da un solo account.
Si tratta di condotta, non di conclusioni. Non rimuoviamo un dialogo perché giunge a una risposta che a qualcuno non piace — rendere pubblico il disaccordo è lo scopo del software. Rimuoviamo invece:
Quando rimuoviamo un dialogo, il registro indica che è stato rimosso e quando. Non eliminiamo nulla di nascosto: un servizio il cui valore è un registro onesto non può avere lacune silenziose.
Ciò che scrivi resta tuo. Pubblicandolo ci consenti di conservarlo e mostrarlo all’interno del dialogo in cui l’hai pubblicato e — solo se premi rilascia su una scheda — di mostrarlo alle altre stanze che lavorano su quella domanda. Il rilascio non può essere annullato, perché altre stanze potrebbero aver già sollevato la stessa affermazione e il loro registro resta valido.
Mappe, affermazioni e dati di una stanza possono essere usati liberamente, in rapporti, presentazioni, articoli e siti web, a una condizione, con ogni piano: citare True Causes con un link alla stanza, per esempio «Mappa causale: True Causes, truecauses.org/d/…». Immagini, incorporamenti ed esportazioni riportano già questa menzione; mantienila quando li riutilizzi, e aggiungila quando citi i risultati con parole tue. True Causes non è venduto come software in white label, e la menzione non viene rimossa con nessun piano.
I piani sono mensili. Puoi disdire in qualsiasi momento e il piano resta attivo fino alla fine del periodo già pagato. I pagamenti non sono rimborsati; possiamo effettuare un rimborso a nostra discrezione, e si tratta di una cortesia, non di un diritto. Un abbonamento scaduto non elimina mai un dialogo — limita i nuovi posti e i nuovi dialoghi; tutto ciò che è già registrato resta leggibile.
Enti non profit. Un ente non profit o di beneficenza registrato può usare il piano Pro senza costi. La richiesta si fa via email; possiamo chiedere la prova della registrazione, e possiamo revocare la concessione se l’organizzazione non ne ha più i requisiti. I suoi dialoghi non vengono mai eliminati quando la concessione termina.
Questa istanza è in fase di prova su larga scala. È fornita così com’è e secondo disponibilità, senza garanzie di alcun tipo — né di idoneità, né di accuratezza, né di disponibilità, né che un dialogo produca un risultato utile. Nella misura massima consentita dalla legge, non accettiamo alcuna responsabilità per perdite o danni derivanti dal tuo uso del servizio, comprese le decisioni che tu o la tua organizzazione prendete sulla base di una mappa da esso prodotta. Dove la legge non consente di escludere la responsabilità, questa è limitata a quanto ci hai pagato nei dodici mesi precedenti la richiesta.
Puoi eliminare il tuo account in qualsiasi momento. Possiamo chiudere un account che viola questi termini, e ne indicheremo il motivo salvo che la legge ce lo impedisca.
Si applica la legge della giurisdizione del gestore. Nulla di quanto qui previsto ti priva di un diritto del consumatore di cui godi nel luogo in cui vivi.

True Causes is operated by Inverudio Inc. Paid plans are sold through a payment provider acting as merchant of record; that provider appears on your invoice and handles tax.
Software for running a structured deliberation and producing a map of causes. It is a tool for a group to reach and record its own conclusions. It does not make decisions, verify facts, or give professional advice. A map it produces is the opinion of the people who made it.
You are responsible for what is posted from your account and for keeping your password. One person, one account. An address may be confirmed once, by one account.
This is about conduct, not conclusions. We do not remove a dialogue for reaching an answer somebody dislikes — publishing disagreement is the point of the software. We do remove:
When we remove a dialogue the record shows that it was removed, and when. We do not quietly delete things: a service whose value is an honest record cannot have silent holes in it.
What you write stays yours. By posting it you allow us to store and display it inside the dialogue you posted it in, and — only if you press release on a card — to show it to the other rooms working on that question. Releasing cannot be undone, because other rooms may already have raised the same claim and their record stands.
Maps, claims and data from a room may be used freely, in reports, presentations, articles and websites, on one condition, on every plan: credit True Causes and link to the room, for example “Causal map: True Causes, truecauses.org/d/…”. Pictures, embeds and exports carry this credit already; keep it when you reuse them, and add it when you quote results in your own words. True Causes is not sold as white-label software, and the credit is not removed on any plan.
Plans are monthly. You can cancel at any time and the plan runs to the end of the period already paid for. Payments are not refunded; we may refund at our own discretion, and that is a courtesy, not a right. A lapsed subscription never deletes a dialogue — it caps new seats and new dialogues; everything already recorded stays readable.
Nonprofits. A registered nonprofit or charity may use the Pro plan free of charge. Apply by email; we may ask for proof of registration, and we may end the grant if the organisation no longer qualifies. Its dialogues are never deleted when a grant ends.
This instance is being tested at scale. It is provided as it is and as available, without warranty of any kind — not of fitness, accuracy, availability, or that a dialogue will produce a useful result. To the fullest extent the law allows, we accept no liability for any loss or damage arising from your use of the service, including decisions you or your organisation make on the strength of a map it produced. Where the law does not allow liability to be excluded, it is limited to what you paid us in the twelve months before the claim.
You may delete your account at any time. We may close an account that breaks these terms, and will say why unless prevented by law.
Governed by the law of the operator's jurisdiction. Nothing here removes a consumer right you have where you live.
