A ramp request that's not in the system still gets approved on the spot, without a supervisor's sign-off. → ¿influye en? → Ramps would be available without needing to book them in advance.
I see that when a ramp request isn't booked, I can still approve it on the spot if needed for an elderly regular who needs extra time at a stop.
I can't say for sure if approving a ramp request on the spot would lead to ramps being available without needing to book them in advance.
If staff can approve ramp requests on the spot, it means ramps would be available even if I didn't book them in advance.
If the person on the platform can say yes without asking a supervisor, an unbooked ramp can actually be produced there and then — that is what makes the ramp available without booking.
I've seen passengers turned away because the ramp wasn't booked and I couldn't approve it.
I have logged complaints where passengers without ramp bookings were turned away because staff could not approve requests on the spot without supervisor sign-off.
